Lily: Kate Moss is my hero

SINGER LILY ALLEN has told how she was rescued from a beating — by new fashion rival KATE MOSS.

Lily and Kate have just launched clothes labels — Kate at Topshop and Lily at New Look.

But the 22-year-old star has revealed that Kate is her hero.

Lily was at the Glastonbury festival when she was confronted by a girl and her mates.

The girl falsely believed Lily had been sleeping with her boyfriend.

She said: “They beat me up. They stabbed me in the ear with a beer can and cut my ear open and I had two black eyes. It was a nightmare.”

But then Kate, 33, stepped in to save her.

Lily said: “I only have nice things to say about Kate. She actually jumped to my defence.

“Kate stood in and said, ‘Stop being mean’. So I have nothing bad to say about her, she’s only ever been lovely to me.”
