Rumors of Lindsay's exit from rehab untrue

Remember a few days ago when people were upset that Lindsay had gotten out of rehab early?

Well, not so fast. According to TMZ.com:

Don't believe the hype. Lindsay Lohan was out and about -- but definitely not released from rehab! The rehabbing starlet was granted a brief pass to take care of some personal business, but was back in a matter of hours, and, says her rep, she was accompanied by a Promises staff member at all times.

The personal business: bleaching her roots! LOL No seriously, I hope to follow through with her sobriety this time. It is sad that she is like this at such a young age.

Rehab is a way for celebrities to "fix" their unruly behavior or to offset some outlandish comment they made that found it's way into the media spotlight. Case in point, Isaiah Washington or Mel Gibson. I don't believe many celebrities go to rehab to get better, they go so the people signing their checks think they're shaping up. Unfortunately, it didn't work for Lohan, she has recently been pushed aside for her latest role.

Or they go to rehab for "appearances' sake" only...you know, like in Public Relations?

I agree with your sentiments, because I seriously doubt that Mel, Isaiah, Michael Richards, or even Linday Lohan really want to be truly rehabilitated.
